Do we need to visit your Canberra office?
We're based in Braddon and many of our engagements involve on-site work in Canberra — whether it's kickoff meetings, assessment interviews, or governance reviews. However, we work with organisations across Australia. Initial consultations and ongoing advisory can happen remotely. For significant assessments or implementation support, we typically schedule in-person engagement.
How quickly can you start if we need urgent support?
We can typically mobilise within days for urgent assessments or readiness reviews. Our Canberra location means we can schedule face-to-face meetings quickly. If you have a contract deadline, tender submission, or DISP application timeline that's tight, get in touch early — we've supported many organisations on compressed schedules.
What's the difference between hiring a full-time CISO and using your vCISO service?
A vCISO gives you strategic security direction and board-level governance on a fractional basis — typically a few days per month. A full-time CISO is warranted when you have sustained, complex security operations that require daily executive attention. For growing SMEs in the defence or government space, a vCISO is often the most cost-effective way to get the governance and compliance direction you need.

Absolutely. Our free health check is designed for exactly this. We'll give you an indicative view of your readiness, identify the biggest gaps, and prioritise the work needed to get there. Many organisations start with Essential Eight assessment and uplift, then move into formal DISP preparation once they've achieved ML2. We'll build a realistic roadmap with you.
